MOTOR SPORTS IN SCOTLAND

The main motor racing venue is Scotland's National Motorsport Centre at Knockhill Racing Circuit which is situated close to the town of Dunfermline in Fife. Throughout the year 2000 a comprehensive programme of events has been organised. There is something here for every motor sport fan. Events range from Auto Trader British Touring Championship race days
and MCN Superbike Championship heats to Hot hatch Days and Eurocar - Days of Thunder. Many quality essays mention these race in the context of difficult and even dangerous
sport events. However, they're still rather popular.

Although the track is only 1.3 miles long its natural amphitheatre shape offers the spectator and all round view of the action. Over certain stretches of the circuit speeds can exceed
a breathtaking 160 miles per hour.
