This fully guided 5 day tour takes you up through the Highlands to the legendary Isle of Skye. It is aimed at people who want to experience the best that Scotland has to offer, as well as giving you the time to do some serious hiking. It includes a two day over-night hike for which all equipment - tent, cooking equipment, even boots and waterproofs, if required - is supplied. This entire tour is led by a fully qualified guide. Day One: We depart Edinburgh and enjoy a full days tour through the Highlands stopping at Dunkeld, Loch Ness, Glen Shiel and Eilean Donan Castle, before arriving for the night at Skye.
Day Two: We set off on a 13 km hike through Glen Sligachan which divides the awesome Red and Black Cuillin Mountains, over to Skye's west coast to spend a night under the stars at Camasunary Bay.
Day Three: A 14 km hike along the coast, past the 'Bad Step' to the shores of the breathtaking Loch Coruisk.
Day Four: By mini coach to Skye's northern tip, via Portree, the Old Man of Storr, the Lealt Falls, the Quairrang and the Faerie Glen.
Day Five: Leaving Skye for Edinburgh via Fort William, Glen Coe and Stirling.
