In spite of post war difficulties the founder of our Company, Hugh Macpherson could not resist the call to return to his homeland. He brought his wife Janet, who was taken to Canada as a toddler from Falkirk, and his two daughters to open up our Highland Outfitters shop. Here we also make Kilts and have a wide range of Scottish gifts, which are exported to all corners of the World. Hugh was a young lad when he was taken to Canada and had never wanted to leave Scotland. He met his wife at a Burns Supper in Canada and they decided that the day they could afford to return to Scotland they would do so. Eventually they did and started up the business in Scotland that is still going strong today, being run by his younger daughter Jean Macpherson with her daughter Alison assisting, along with a very friendly and helpful staff.
