Friends of the Clanranald Trust for Scotland
The friends of Clanranald Trust for Scotland invites you to join in supporting a group of individuals dedicated to reviving Scottish culture and heritage. The Trust's most ambitious undertaking to date is to replicate an early medieval Motte and Bailey Fort typical of the Scottish Chief's residences throughout the early part of this millennium. The purpose of the settlement is to create the atmosphere of an authentic medieval working community where schools, groups and individuals can participate in and view the everyday life of our ancestors.
Your membership will support our projects and encourage those agencies and individuals that we approach for future support. It will help demonstrate that there is a wide-scale and worldwide interest in such an undertaking. Many of us are descended from lands where our ancestors were driven from their homes, and the Trust respects and appreciated all cultures. Even if you are not of Scottish decent, please consider joining us in these worthwhile endeavours.
