The city's reputation as a seat of learning dates from the formation of it's University in 1451.? Glasgow's rich cultural inheritance includes a wealth of ornate Victorian architecture. including that of Alexander "Greek" Thomson. the art nouveau design of Charles Rennie Mackintosh and many fine Museums and Galleries. |
