GOLF:
Golf is the reason many people come to Perthshire. There are 32 courses on offer and if you¹re a keen golfer the best advice is to head for a Tourist Board office and buy a Perthshire Green Card which allows five rounds for £79 or three for £49 at a choice of mouth-watering courses. Or you might buy the Perthshire Highlands Golf Ticket which allows five days of play on your choice of five courses for £32 for three rounds or £50 for five.

Particularly scenic golf courses are at Taymouth Castle in Highland Perthshire, and Crieff, both of which can be played on through the Perthshire Green Card program. Aberfeldy is another gorgeous little course, while in Perth itself King James IV - set on an island in the River Tay - is scenic and challenging, and if you don't mind hilly golf, then the Craigie Hill course is worth it for the views.
